A: Sheryl! Honey! We’re going out for dinner. Hey. You’re not too busy right now, are you? We’re going out for dinner.
B: I heard you, dad. Where are we going?
A: Well, we haven’t decided yet. I think your mother is still on her Japanese kick, but I’ve been craving barbecue all week. Do you think you could back me up?
B: Urg. No thanks, dad.
A: Come on. I was thinking of that place // where they gave us all // a free glass of wine. Remember?
B: Yeah, I remember. Wine sounds good. I don’t think I’ll be having/eating barbecue for a while though.
A: What’s the matter? You loved that place.
B: Yeah, well, all this research about factory farming is just really freaking me out to be honest.
A: Oh, is that what that’s about? Is it homework?
B: Yeah. It’s a report (that) I’m working on. They gave us a few topics to choose from. I just thought this would be an easy one to write about.
